Neoprene Wetsuit Gloves
Neoprene wetsuit gloves are essential accessories designed to keep hands warm during water activities in various water temperatures. People wear wetsuit gloves to protect their hands from the chilling effects of mild to cold water, preventing numbness and maintaining dexterity for various watersports like surfing, diving, kayaking, and more. The thickness of wetsuit gloves varies to accommodate different water temperatures and activity levels to ensure optimal insulation without compromising movement. Additionally, neoprene gloves often feature grip-enhancing textures on the palms, providing better control of equipment.
Ultra-thin 0.5mm gloves were designed for water temps ranging from 70°F to 85°F (21°C to 29°C). These gloves provide a light layer of insulation, offering protection against cooler conditions without causing overheating in warmer waters. Wetsuit gloves that are 2mm thick are suitable for water temperatures ranging from approximately 60°F to 75°F (16°C to 24°C), while 3mm thick gloves are ideal for water temperatures between 50°F to 65°F (10°C to 18°C). Then there are 5mm thick wetsuit gloves designed for colder waters that are around 45°F to 60°F (7°C to 15°C). Lastly, 7mm thick neoprene gloves are best suited for very cold conditions, typically below 50°F (10°C).
